Wordpress virtual Robots.txt calls for NGINX config add

With the new Wordpress versions serving up a virtual robots.txt these days (dynamically generated, so not an actual file on disk) NGINX logs are being filled with file does not exist errors. Any chance CW Wordpress app config can be optimized by adding the following to their NGINX configs?

location = /robots.txt {
try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$args;
access_log off;
log_not_found off;
}

Thanks!
