Redis + Woocommerce: 502 Gateway error when adding product to cart

#1

I enabled Redis on a Woocommerce website. At first seemed to work great, fast. The Redis cli monitor showed that it all worked.

However, adding a product to the cart results in a 502 Bad Gateway error. That surely destroys the shopping fun!
Any suggestions how to fix this?

Which redis plugin are you using? I use redis-cache.

Have you defined this in your wp-config.php file?

Yes, I added keys and salts. Add a product to the cart and bang! 502 Bad Gateway NGINX. This site is running PHP5.6
