502 & 504 Errors

(Khrisc) #1

Hi guys,

Yesterday my site started giving 504 Gateway Timeout -ngnix errors.

I followed the steps outlined in Cloudways’ 502 troubleshooting guide: https://support.cloudways.com/fix-502-bad-gateway-error/?utm_source=Platformkb&utm_medium=kbsearch

It didn’t work.

I contact support and they responded they applied the necessary fixes.

It didn’t work.

Today I’m receiving a 502 Bad Gateway nginx error.

No changes were made on the site or server prior to errors so there’s nothing I can undo. I’m not sure what to do next. Any ideas?

Thanks, saquib.rizwan. Your team dug through my error logs yesterday and it looks like there’s some malicious code on my site.

For those of you running Wordpress, there’s a new wave of wp-vcd malware going around. I’m not sure how my site got hit yet but, please check your logs and keep on top of your site security. http://securityaffairs.co/wordpress/65800/malware/wordpress-wp-vcd-malware.html
